Feadship’s latest addition to the explorer yacht category, Valor, was launched on Saturday, 17 May, from the Aalsmeer shipyard in the Netherlands. Measuring nearly 80 metres in length and featuring a steel ice-class hull, Valor is purpose-built for navigating the world’s most remote and challenging destinations.
She is powered by an advanced hybrid propulsion system combining diesel-electric, solar, and battery technologies—among the most sophisticated Feadship has ever delivered—enabling up to 48 hours of zero-emission cruising.
Design-wise, Valor combines the commanding presence of a battleship with the refined elegance of a superyacht. From her bold dreadnought bow to a sleek aft deck with infinity pool, she sets a new benchmark for explorer yacht aesthetics.
Inside, the main salon reflects the owner’s passion for classic audio equipment, featuring twin stacks of American-made McIntosh stereo components, a turntable, and a thoughtfully curated vinyl collection—a unique fusion of old-school charm and global exploration.
Custom-built for an experienced owner with a bold vision, Valor is fully equipped to take on the Northwest Passage—and the world beyond.
